Add-on: Sell Serialized Items.
A serial number is a code for one physical item. For example, each phone has its own number.
Use this when you need to know exactly which item was sold. The stock count comes from the numbers still in stock.
Edit the item in Inventory. Open Serialized Items and turn on Enable Item Serialization. Enter each code with Add Serial Number.
Use search to find a code. Check whether it says In Stock or Sold. Choose Done, then save the inventory item. Done alone does not save the item.
Scan the serial number on Sell, or choose the item and pick its serial number when asked. Check that it matches the item you are handing to the buyer.
After the sale, check that this code is marked Sold. Do not sell a different physical item under the same code.
